Last week was calendar coloring, this week will be priorities…
When scheduling any activity, but this makes the most sense for Next Actions, Calls, and Other Actions, you can give the activity a priority rather than time.
Here’s the standard scheduling window…
Type an ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ in the Time field… and…
A prioritized, or timeless, activity shows up on the calendar in the ‘Task’ area.
The activities will be listed in alphabetical order according to the Priority/Time field… As first, Bs second, Cs third, etc.

Just a note here...in PE 8, if you use priorities...the grid will not sort based on the alpha priority characters.
In our org. we use these for several users rather than making the actions date specific. It makes more sense for our operation. The user sorts so that they see their A's, then B's, etc. In CE they could do it just fine...in PE they cannot. It sorts on any times in the box and then just throws the letters to the top or bottom in the order they were already in.
Reported to Frontrange, so perhaps it will be fixed in a future release. (though the tech I got on the phone did not even know that GM had the priority ability as it does).

Larry,
I am using GMPE 8.0.1 (8.01.70621) and it seem to sort OK in the calendar but Activity List is definitely off...
Guess their techs need to the read the blog! ;-)
