What To Do If Your SQL Query Results Are Limited to 10,000 Records

You may have 10s of 1000s or more records in your GoldMine database.  When using SQL queries to mine that data, you find that GoldMine will only display the first 10,000 results.

That limit is the default in GoldMine; however, we can quickly change that!

First, locate your <<username.ini>> file where your GoldMine is installed.  Here, I’ll go to the “K” drive then GoldMine and find chad.ini, i.e. k:\goldmine\chad.ini.

Open that file using Notepad.  Normally double-clicking on the document will automatically open it using Notepad.  Then, find the [GoldMine] Section.

Add the entry:

SQLQueryLimit=100000 … Change the 100,000 to whatever the maximum number of records you want returned.
